IMPORTANT: Do not go to Byerly's this week, unless you need groceries.
We voted last week to cut back our summer schedule to every other week, in view of reduced attendance for various reasons, mostly about vacations, etc. So we're not meeting this week. We will meet on July 27, August 10, and August 24, and will resume a full schedule beginning on September 7.
If you have a speech ready, or expect to soon, Leah wants you to let her know so that she can schedule you in on the date of your choice, especially during the shortened period. We don't want any member to miss any opportunity to proceed through the manuals.
Members even remotely thinking about become professional speakers will want to know about drawing for an 8-session course in exactly that. There will also be a free TELI and a free conference. If you are interested, get your name in the drawing by e-mailing our district governor, Catherine Rai-Cardenuto. Even if you dismiss the possibility, any of these can be good for anyone. It costs nothing to give it a shot. Send the e-mail to Catherine@FestiveFinale.com. Good luck. There's no deadline date given, so do it now while you think of it.
The attached schedule is here because we always have one. OK, so it's short, but it's still informative.
See you a week from Wednesday.
